Katie Rose is running for the West Virginia House of Delegates in District 96 to bring high-paying, family-supporting jobs to Berkeley County and to develop infrastructure that keeps up with growth.

Katie has served as the Legislative Counsel to Congressman Riley Moore (WV-02), where she helped craft legislation rooted in West Virginia values. Before returning home to serve her own Congressman, she worked as a Policy Advisor to Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, contributing to one of the most energetic reform-minded administrations in the country.

Katie’s experience in public service is extensive and spans some of the most demanding political environments in America. She served as Regional Communications Coordinator for the Ohio Valley at the 2020 Trump Re-Election Headquarters.

Katie also proudly represented her home as Miss Berkeley County in 2015, a title that helped spark her commitment to serve and uplift the community she loves.

Katie is a graduate of George Mason University and the University of Richmond School of Law.

    Every child deserves a great education, and every family deserves the freedom to choose what that looks like. Katie supports expanding school choice so parents — not bureaucrats — decide what's best for their kids.

  • Invest in water, sewer, roads, and bridges to keep up with local growth

    Berkeley County is one of the fastest-growing areas in West Virginia, and our infrastructure needs to keep pace. Katie will prioritize the roads, bridges, water, and sewer systems that keep our communities safe, connected, and ready for the future.

  • Recruit and retain top firefighters, police officers, and teachers

    Safe communities and strong schools depend on the people who show up every day to serve them. Katie will fight for the pay, resources, and support our first responders and teachers deserve — so Berkeley County can attract and keep the best.

  • Cut taxes to keep more money in the pockets of hardworking West Virginians

    West Virginians work hard for what they earn. Katie believes government should take less of it. She'll push for commonsense tax relief that puts money back where it belongs — with the families and small businesses that earned it.
